:: Staff Correspondent ::
15th August comes shouldered by time and it goes. Many things start anew with the rotation of earth and moon. Civilizations get destroyed and built anew. But the bleeding in Bangalee heart never ends. It shall make us cry for ever. Yesterday there was a discussion coven, Mahfil along with photo exhibition in FBCCI’s conference room on National Mourning Day. In this occasion, talking to the journalists Vorer Pata Group chairperson and FBCCI’s running director Dr. KAzi Erataza Hassan says, “Nonetheless Bangabandhu does not exist physically, he exists in the mausoleum of the people as he was in his lifetime. In fact, it is the newly born Sonar Bangla that got brush fired on 15th August in 1975. If it did not take place, Bangladesh could have been in the row of developed countries.”
The name of Bangbandhu is in every inch of Bangladesh. Bangabandhu and Bangaladesh are indeed identical. He is the triumphant tree of the history of Bangladesh. Without his birth, the birth of Bangladesh would have been impossible. Awami League’s presidium member Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim says, “Bangabandhu got killed by his own people. We demand for a free commission. Who were the players behind? How could retired army officers enter the camp? Bangabandhu did never compromise with injustice.
The nation will remember him forever.” FBCCI president Md. Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin says, “We can do business freely because father of the nation has given us a free land.” On that ceremony presided by FBCCI president there were State Ministry related permanent committee president Tipu Munshi as special guest, Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed and ex- Bangladesh Bank governor Dr. Mohammod Farasuddin.
