A Dhaka court has fixed July 31 for the charge framing hearing of nine different cases against BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia.
Dhaka Metropolitan Session Judge Mohammad Quamrul Hossain Mollah fixed the date on Thursday morning.
Of the nine cases, seven were filed with Darus Salam Police Station while two others with Jatrabari Police Station for sabotage activities.
Md Sanaullah Miah, counsel of the BNP chief sought adjournment of the hearing saying that Khaleda could not appear before the court as she has to appear before another court in connection with Zia Charitable Trust graft case.
Earlier around 10:30 am on Thursday, Khaleda Zia appeared before a special court in the capital in connection with Zia Charitable Trust graft case.
