Dr. Kazi Ertaza Hassan honored as UN’s ‘Doctor of Humanity’

United Nations had organized to create peace in the whole world on the perspective of Second World War, in 1945.  Dr. Kazi Ertaza Hassan, editor-publisher of The Daily Vorer Pata and the Chairperson of Bangladesh Human Rights Development Commission has been honored as ‘Doctor of Humanity’ by UN’s honorary organizations. Beside this, Awami League’s Central sub-committee member of Industry & Commerce and Religion, Dr. Kazi Ertaza Hassan has also awarded as ‘World Peace Ambassador’ of UN’s honorary organizations.

Last Sunday, Dr. Kazi Ertaza Hassan among 14 personalities from several countries awarded in the 5th World Peace Summit arranged by a part Organization of UN named United Nations University for Global Peace or University of Universal Global Peace, in Malayasia for their contribution in different sector.

From Bangladesh only Dr. Kazi Ertaza Hassan has been honored as ‘Doctor of Humanity’ for special contribution in human rights. Beside this Dr. M Chuchalingam, Justice of Tamilnadu state in India has been honored as ‘Golden award in human excellence’ for special contribution in justice. 

For 28 years, he has given justice to 1648 cases in favor of human rights. In recognition of this, the respect for human rights UN honored him.

 Apart from others, Alauddin Bin Yakub from Singapore, Lai Chi Chhey from Malaysia, Unung Sein win, Piong Sik Yen, Lingisarayar S O Muiyani, Julie Maya Nagshwari Supriya, Dato Dr. Mohammad Rafi Bin worfe  Dr. Mohammad Fayzal, Dr. Supya Bharaswami, Tuwan Haji Jiyace Abdul Karim, Dr. Yek Ren Thang cristiana, Dr. Wong Song Juin Devis and Dato Shree Dr. Marvin Yip kane Young also have been awarded.

Only honored as ‘Doctor of Humanity’ Dr. Kazi Ertaza Hassan said, I offer this award to the 18 crore of suppressed people in Bangladesh. Beside my own mother I express my gratitude to Jononetri Sheikh Hasina, one of the most prominent women in the world, who won many awards from abroad including Mother of Humanity. I inspired from her who has turned Bangladesh as Role-model. He said I offer my life for people’s welfare. 

Noted that Director of FBCCI, Founder President of Iran- Bangladesh Chamber of commerce &  industry and the chairperson of Bangladesh Human Rights Development Commission, Dr. Kazi Ertaza Hassan has been serving for Human Rights for the last 16 years.
