The results of Primary Education certificate, Junior Secondary Certificate and Junior Dakhil Certificate examinations this year have been published yesterday. The little learners who took part in the PEC, JSC and JDC exam have achieved a tremendous success in the exam. Centering the result jubilant celebrated their success across the country. We have seen the jubilant celebration of the little learners. In a single word the joy that the little learners their parents and teachers expressed was really charming.
But many students fail in the exam. In spite of joy they expressed a deep mourn. But this year girls fared better than boys by a slight margin in primary terminal examination. We congratulated the little learners who secured good result in the exam. We think this little learner will lead the country in future. We support the students for their tremendous success.
This year, the pass rate of the public examination is 83.65 percent, which is a significant 9.41 percent less than that of 2016. Meanwhile, the number of GPA-5 has also decreased this year. A total of 1,84,397 candidates achieved GPA-5, which was 2,81,898 in 2016. 7,231 students from JDC secured GPA-5. This year, a total of 24, 68,820 eighth graders from 28,628 institutions appeared in the JSC and JDC tests. This year huge drops in JSC, JDC pass and GPA-5. Among them, 20.90 lakh students sat for the JSC exams and around 3.78 lakh students took the JDC exams.
