Almost lost wrestling sports will return to life again! It’s like a man has a magic wand in his hand and he brought wrestling game to life by the overnight with the wand of magic in his hand. He is none other than, the editor and publisher of Daily Vorer Pata and The People’s Time Dr. Kazi Ertaza Hassan, CIP. Besides, he is the chairman of Vorer Pata Group of Industries, Kazi Group of Industries, Bazar 24, Rupantor Design and Development Limited, Director of FBCCI, Founder Chairman of the Iran-Bangladesh Chamber and Commerce, Chairperson of Bangladesh Human Rights Development Commission and Central Sub-Committee Member of Bangladesh Awami league Trade and Religious Affairs.
RDDL Chairman Dr. Kazi Ertaza Hassan has proved how much Sports lover he is by sponsoring two successful event of wrestling sports. How much love should a man have for the sports, that he can dream to take a small federation to the world court? On Tuesday (23th July), 27th RDDL National Junior Boys-Girls Wrestling Championship opening day, Dr. Kazi Ertaza Hassan, CIP has said a lot about that. He said, if a dream is’nt realized, it can’t be implemented. By this principle, The Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is also dreaming to bring this country to the top of development country.
The chairman of the RDDL was interested in seeing the competition of 25 boys and girls from Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna, Mymensingh, Chapainawabganj, Kurigram, Jamalpur, Rangpur, Madaripur, Kishoreganj, Narail, Dinajpur and Panchagarh. He has renewed this wrestling sport which was almost lost in the recent past years. Olympic Association joint secretary Ashikur Rahman Miku is uncle to Dr. Kazi Ertaza Hassan. And Ashiqur Rahman Miku is a friend of Tabiur Rahman Palwan, who is general secretary of wrestling federation. Today, the wrestling federation has got a new initiative through this relationship. 27th National Junior Boys-Girls Wrestling Competition is the proof of the continuation of that initiative. Syed Shahed Reza, Secretary General of the Olympic Association, announced the inauguration yesterday at Handball Stadium as a chief guest of the inaugural event. RDDL chairman Dr. Kazi Ertaza Hassan, CIP was there by his aside.
At the inaugural ceremony chief guest Syed Shahed Reza said, “I am surprised that so many boys and girls from different regions of the country have come to Dhaka to play in this hot summer. I’m glad that our wrestling elders are preparing for the Saff championship. You are the star of tomorrow. I hope that you all will keep up the practice from here. Also I would like to thank the Chairman of RDDL. He has extended his hand of cooperation. In fact, it is not possible for the government to do it all alone. Businessman also needs to raise their hand in Sports Sector.
After that, RDDL chairman Dr. Kazi Ertaza Hassan, CIP said in his speech, “On the base of this relationship, today I have been able to come in the Wrestling Federation. Actually I’m not a new sports fan. I was a sole proprietor of the Rangpur Riders in 2016 BPL edition. Interest, investment and multicoverage that is given to cricket, even the 5% of that been offered to this wrestling sector, then this wrestling game of this country will go to the top level in the world court. Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina wants the boys and girls of this country to come forward in the Sports Sector. She always cooperates in Sports Sector. Earlier, at a news conference of wrestling, I announced that, I will be with wrestling for 1year. Today I am announcing that whatever it needs to do to improve this wrestling sector, for 1year my company will do much as possible. ”
At the inauguration day, the General Secretary of the wrestling Federation, Tabur Rahman Palwan, Joint General Secretary Mesbah Uddin Azad, Volleyball Women’s Committee Chairman Syeda Jannat Ara (SP, CID) and CEO of R&S Corporation Md. Asif Hasan was also there.
