Actress Kushum Shikder’s much talked and criticised about her comeback venture, “Nesha,” a music video featuring a steamy Kushum, already had received mixed reactions.
After releasing her new video some praised her bold appearance in the video, while many were seen criticising the video, tagging it as “culturally inappropriate” after releasing on August 3, 2017.
Now, a case has been filed against her for violating the ICT Act and creating pornography through her latest music video, “Nesha” from Ramna police station. Before that, Supreme Court lawyer Khandaker Nazmul Ahsan filed a case against Kuhsum and her “Nesha” team to Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Nurunnahar Yasmin last Sunday.
The video has been taken down from YouTube as of Monday afternoon. But it can still be found on Facebook.
When the video got released, it became talk of the town. But the video reached new heights when a Supreme Court lawyer named Aftab Uddin Siddique Ragib served a legal notice to remove the video from all social media outlets within 72 hours on August 13. In the notice, the lawyer accuses the video of featuring sexually provocative lyrics and scenes.
