The launch of Bangladesh’s first satellite Bangabandhu-1 has been delayed again.
The date may be postponed to May 7 from May 4, Telecom and Information Technology Minister Mustafa Jabbar said on Wednesday.
He spoke at a roundtable, titled ‘Bangabandhu Satellite: A potential outer space’ organised by Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission or BTRC.
Previously, Bangladesh was preparing for the launch of Bangabandhu-1 on December 16, Victory Day from Florida.
Bangladesh later planned to launch the the satellite on May 4 from the Cape Canaveral launch pad in Florida using SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket.
