In the next eleven parliamentary elections, the BNP-led 23-party alliance will still not decide whether the alliance will take part. Today, meeting also gave mixed opinion about not going to the polls.
At the end of the coalition meeting, some leaders told NTV online these information. They said that today’s meeting has not decided on whether or not to go to the next election. All the teams gave their opinion. Final decision will take more than a day or two.
Some affiliates have said that they will also take part in BNP’s participation in the election. If you take part in the elections, then how will the next situation be, and if not, then everyone will express their opinion on how it will be.
If the 23-party alliance participates in the elections, alliance partners will take part in their respective party symbols. However, those who do not have a registered party will collectively participate in the rice ear symbol.
LDP chief Colonel (retd) Oli Ahmed confirmed the matter, saying that my party and my party will take part in the election.
Earlier, the meeting of the 23-party alliance began at BNP’s Chairperson’s political office in Gulshan, around 6:30 pm.
Among the leaders of the 23-party alliance, BNP standing committee member Nazrul Islam Khan, Jamaat-e-Islami’s Abdul Halim, LDP President Colonel (retd) Oli Ahmed, BJP President Andalib Rahman Perth, Bangladesh Kalyan Party Chairman Syed Muhammad Ibrahim, Zagor Tasmeia chief, Khilafat Majlish’s Moulana Isaac, Labor party Dr. Mostafizur Rahman Iran, Comrade Saeed Ahmed of Samyabadi party, Saifuddin Ahmed Moni of DL, Nur Hossain Kashemi of Jamiyet Ulamiya Islam, Maulana Abdur Rakib of Islami Oikya Jote are present.
Before the final decision on the participation in the elections, the BNP standing committee members sat in the afternoon at 5pm. BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir presided over the meeting with the standing committee member of the party. Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Barrister Moudud Ahmed, Barrister Jamir Uddin Sarker, Mirza Abbas, Nazrul Islam Khan, Rafiqul Islam Mia were also present.
After the meeting of the Standing Committee, the group sat in a meeting with top leaders of the alliance. Later, the leaders of National Unity Front will sit in the Gulshan office around 8:30 pm. It will decide whether the BNP, the 23-party alliance and the national unity front will participate in the elections of the eleventh general elections.
