Four popular faces of small screen industry, Tareen Jahan, Shahed Ali, Sushama Sarkar and Tanjin Tisha are set to appear together in a special tele-drama titled ‘Onahuto’ on the eve of International Women’s Day.
Written and directed by Shraboni Ferdous, this tele-drama is set to be telecast on RTV.
DhakaLive has news that the tele-drama had been shot in a house at Uttara in the capital.
About the plot, Shraboni Ferdous said, “A family can never find peace without mutual love and respect between a couple. This affects their children as well. Even in high society, some husbands torture their wives, both physically and mentally. However, the wives try to hide the scar and go on with the daily affairs of the household.”
“In this tele-drama, Tareen’s character rebels and leaves the family. She leaves behind her daughter. When the daughter is all grown up and ready for marriage, the husband, wife and daughter come face to face and the story continues”, she added.
“I have already worked under the direction of Shraboni Ferdous. Her storytelling attracts the audience. If story of a drama happens to be good, the artistes invest themselves fully to portray their characters. I am hopeful about this tele-drama,” said Tareen.
“I have worked with Tareen in multiple projects. But I am first time working under Shraboni Ferdous. The story is really amazing. Everyone has enjoyed working in this great project,” said Shaed Ali.
