Temporary suspension of three students in JU

Jahangirnagar University (JU) students of the first year have been expelled temporarily by the university administration. Their offense, they beat four students. Four members of the higher committee have been constituted to investigate the incident.

Three suspended students are Swan of drama and dramatology department, Mahid of Archeology Department and Ahsanuzzaman Shaon of Marketing Department. They are all resident students of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall.

On January 9, students of the Economy Department beat up four students of the University Department in Battala area protesting the classmate. In this, three seriously injured including a student were injured.

The victim’s victim filed a written complaint along with Proctor to the punishment of the accused next day. After the initial investigation, the Proctorial Body sent the students to the Disciplinary Board recommending the punishment. On Friday the recommendation of the disciplinary board was approved by the syndicate.
