Election Commissioner Mahbub Talukdar said the situation will change if the army is in the field of eleven parliamentary elections.
He said this in response to a question given by journalists at his office at the Agargaon office in the capital on Monday evening.
In the morning, four journalists submitted six written questions to Election Commissioner Mahbub Talukder. Mahbub Talukder gave a written reply to the question.
Responding to the question of whether the fair election is possible in opposition to the opposition’s campaign in the election, Election Commissioner Mahbub Talukdar said, “I am a hopeful person. There is a time when there is a commitment to free, fair and neutral elections.
He said that the judges of the Executive Magistrate, Judicial Magistrate and Electoral Inquiry Committee should play a more effective role. I think, if the army is in the field then the situation will change in a rosy manner.
