Only 78 days after the assassination of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the country’s four national leaders were brutally killed in captivity in Dhaka Central Jail. The investigation commission was formed formally on September 18, 1980 to investigate the causes of the law and the trial process against the people responsible for these killings.
