Elections will be held for the eleventh parliament on December 23. The last date for submission of nomination papers is November 19. Last date for selection of nomination papers is November 22. Last date for withdrawal of candidacy is November 29.

On Thursday evening, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda announced the election day to the nation. CEC’s speech was broadcast live through Bangladesh Television and radio.

The CEC said, “A favorable outcome has been created to conduct parliamentary elections across the country.” The Awakening of the spontaneous interest among the people of all the constituencies surrounded the parliament election. Their huge enthusiasm, enthusiasm, and enthusiasm all over the country emerge. The CEC said, I will hope to stand in the midst of such exalted preparation of the nation and will demand, and will demand that the candidate and his supporters should comply with election law and code of conduct. Every voter will vote for the preferred candidate in a free and independent conscience.

He said strict instructions have been placed on the law enforcement agencies to ensure that voters, political activists, supporters of the candidate and agents are not harassed or have not been subjected to litigation. Everyone can vote for minorities, minor ethnic groups, religions, castes, castes, women and men irrespective of party and caste. After the vote you can live safely at your own accommodation.

Earlier, the EC had fixed the date for the election by 11pm. The meeting was held in the CEC at noon till 12 noon. After the commission meeting at noon, Election Commissioner Shahadat Hossain Chowdhury told the news, ‘everything is fine, just wait.’

After the meeting, the speech of the nation was recorded in the CEC’s room. That’s why the BTV, radio recording team from the morning has been in the EC.

In context, according to the constitution, there is constitutional obligation to hold elections for Eleventh National Parliament by January 28. Starting October 31, the counting time of the election period began.

However, the Election Commission was determined to complete the polling by December. For this, on 1 November, President Abdul Hamid met with the overall preparation of the election, the EC said.

Tenth National Parliament Election was held on 5 January 2014.
