The Daily People's Time believes in development journalism

On the golden jubilee of independence, on the 50th anniversary of independent sovereign Bangladesh, I feel fortunate to be standing at the midst of the history. We are passing the tough time in the Corona Pandemic. However, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is leading the country from the front even during this epidemic.

She has shown the unprecedented development of Bangladesh in the last 12 years, taking Bangladesh forward. The fourth pillar of the state, the media, has spread the most in Bangladesh during the tenure of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Today marks the 11th anniversary of the South People's Media Group's English-language media, The Daily People's Time.

Since its inception, it has been working as a believer in development journalism. The People's Time is working tirelessly to bring the development of the current government to the attention of the world by conveying the news to all the embassies located in Bangladesh.

Today, I am especially grateful to the advertisers, well-wishers and readers of our newspaper. We believe that The Daily People's Times will move forward with their love for what we owe to them. In this case, you will have the same faith and trust in us as before. In addition to wishing the founding anniversary, may Allah Almighty protect everyone from this corona pandemic.

Even I believe, the people of the country will consciously follow the hygiene rules. Besides, we have no other choice. I just want to say in the context of The People's Time that this media speaks for the people. The hopes and aspirations of the people are reflected in the regular writings of this Newspaper. I also believe that development journalism will continue in Bangladesh.

I hope this Newspaper, which believes in the spirit of the liberation war, will go further with the cooperation of all of you.
