 Shahabuddin Chuppu made Chairman of the Publicity and Publication Sub-Committee of Awami League The party's general secretary and road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader handed over the nomination letter to him at the Awami League president's political office in Dhanmondi on Friday (January 14) afternoon. He has been nominated as the Chairman of the Publicity and Publication Subcommittee after the death of HT Imam, Member of the Advisory Council of Bangladesh Awami League and Political Adviser to the Prime Minister. Hossain Tawfiq (HT) Imam, political adviser to the Prime Minister and member of the Awami League's advisory council, died at the Combined Military Hospital in the capital at 1.15am on Wednesday (March 3) last year. He has long been the Chairman of the party's publicity and publication subcommittee. Bangladesh Awami League President Sheikh Hasina has nominated Shahabuddin Chuppu for the post of chairman of the party's publicity and publication sub-committee in accordance with Article 25 (1) (a) of the party's constitution. |
