JnU student Pritom gets national football team call up

Mahfuzur Rahman Pritom, a student of Jagannath University(JnU), gets a chance to play for the Bangladesh national football team. The Bangladesh Football Federation declared a 23-member team for the friendship match against Cambodia and Nepal. Pritom got chances as a goalkeeper in the 23-member team.

Pritom is now playing for Abahani in club football. In 2018, he was also selected for the national football team. He also played regularly in the age group national team.

Pritom said, "For me, it is not new to play for the national team, but in reality I had to wait a long time to be selected further. It's really a pleasure to play for the country. I hope we will win both the games against Cambodia and Nepal."

It has to be noted that Bangladesh will play against Cambodia and Nepal on September 22nd and September 27th, respectively.
