BUET authorities have halted all exams for the upcoming exams for bachelor students, according to a notification.
Dr NM Golam Kibria signed on the notification saying all undergraduate exams scheduled between 30 August to 18 September have been suspended.
The Academic Council will fix new dates for the exams, it added.
BUET and a number of other public and private engineering universities have been rocked with protests against “unjustified” professional facilities demanded by diploma engineering students.
On Wednesday, BUET students locked in clashes with police amid demonstrations to press home their three-point demand.
