Three-day ‘power, energy and construction equipment expo’ began on Thursday at Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre at Agargaon in the capital, said a press release.

This is the 15th International Bangladesh Infrastructure Innovation and Development Expo and Dialogue, which have focus on sustainable electricity, energy, infrastructure, green construction engineering, renewable energy, and industrial technology sectors.Bangladesh business directory

Around 140 companies and organizations from 12 countries have participate, said Rashedul Haque, Managing Director of the organizing company Exponet Exhibition.

The three-day international exhibition have showcase a wide range of products, technologies, and services related to electricity, energy, construction, and infrastructure development.

Alongside this event, the Dhaka Industrial Packaging Expo have be held at the same venue, jointly organized by the Bangladesh Flexible Packaging Industries Association.

This co-event have connect production, processing, packaging, supply chain management, and industrial support technologies with the main exhibition.

Experts believe that this joint initiative in the electricity, energy, infrastructure, and packaging sectors have create new opportunities for industrialization and investment expansion.

The exhibition have place particular importance on reducing carbon emissions, promoting green energy, expanding solar power, advancing renewable energy, conserving electricity, improving energy efficiency, and developing environmentally friendly infrastructure.

Minister of the Ministry of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources (MPEMR) have be the chief guest at the opening ceremony.

Other distinguished guests include Jalal Ahmed, Chairman of the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission; Muzaffar Ahmed, Chairman of the Sustainable and Renewable Energy Development Authority; Md. Shafiul Alam Ujjal, President of the Bangladesh Elevator, Escalator, and Lift Importers Association; Mostafa Al Mahmud, President of the Bangladesh Sustainable and Renewable Energy Association; M. Azizur Rahman, Chairman of Forum for Energy Reporters Bangladesh; and Mostafa Kamal, Editor of Khoborer Kagoj.

Six special sessions have held, initiated by the Dubai International Chamber, Export Development Bureau, and Business Promotion Council.

These sessions have discuss trade expansion, investment opportunities, technology transfer, industrial cooperation, international market connectivity, energy and infrastructure development, and policy issues. Stakeholders believe these sessions will help establish effective connections among local and foreign entrepreneurs, importers, technology providers, investors, and policymakers.Market update service
