A peaceful sit-in program was held in front of the BNP Central Office at Naya Paltan, demanding proper evaluation of dedicated and proven leaders who were deprived of positions in the recently announced Jubo Dal Central Executive Committee.

Former Assistant General Secretary Dulal Hossain told Dainik Bhorer Pata, “We fought on the streets against the previous authoritarian regime and faced numerous cases and attacks. Dedicated activists like us have not been properly evaluated. We are demanding our rightful recognition.”

Former Assistant Organizational Secretary Md. Asadul Alam said, “Instead of evaluating dedicated leaders, the committee has been formed with favored individuals, which will hinder the progress of Jubo Dal.”

Former Acting President of Dhaka College Chhatra Dal, H.M. Rashed, said, “When dedicated activists are deprived, it means the party itself is deprived. In the past, we fought on the streets against authoritarianism to secure the rights of the people. Now, we will remain on the streets to secure our own rightful recognition.”
