Results of 40th BCS’ written test being delayed

The results of the written test of the 40th BCS are being delayed due to exam sheets going to the third examiner.

The Public Service Commission (PSC) sources recently informed this.

The PSC wanted to publish the results of the written test of the 40th BCS, held at the beginning of the current year, in the last week of December this year.

About this, PSC Controller of Examinations (Cadre) Nur Ahmed said, “It will not be possible to publish the results of the written test of the 40th BCS by December. We are trying to deliver results in a timely manner.”

“We are also working on public holidays and Saturdays to publish the results on time,” he also said, adding, “The publish of results will be delayed due to exam sheets going to the third examiner.”

According to PSC sources, the work of evaluating the written exam sheets of the 40th BCS has already been completed. In many exam sheets, the difference between the marks of two examiners is more than 20 percent, as a result, it has been sent to the third examiner.
