The NCSI lists 160 countries on the basis of assess basic preparedness for cyber attacks, cyber incidents, crime and major crisis management activities. Greece topped the list with a score of 96.10, while Czech Republic ranked 2nd with 92.21 and Estonia 3rd with 90.91. The United States ranks 16th in the index while the United Kingdom ranks 18th. Singapore is the only Asian representative in the top 20 with placing at 15th and China ranked 80th. South Sudan is at the bottom of the list. With the score of 44.16, Bangladesh is ahead of Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Nepal, and Bhutan in the index, placing second in the South Asia. India which is topped among the countries in the region has a score of 59.74 to be ranked 35th in the index.
