Cambridge O, A level exams postponed

The Ministry of Education has decided not to conduct ‘O’ level and ‘A’ level examinations under Cambridge considering the Covid-19 situation.

On Tuesday, a letter has been sent from the Department of Secondary and Higher Education to the British Council’s Country Director for Bangladesh instructing them not to take the exam.

It is said that at present no public examination is being held in Bangla medium and general stream educational institutions of Bangladesh for the protection of students and teachers considering the situation of Covid-19 and as the situation is not yet fully favorable.

Incidentally, in the current Covid-19 situation, the exams are not being taken in the United Kingdom and other neighboring countries of Bangladesh.
