Hitu Sheikh Sentenced to Death in Achiya Murder Case; 3 Acquitted

The court has announced the verdict on the murder of Magura child Achia. Hitu Sheikh, accused of the verdict, has been sentenced to death. Besides, the remaining 5 accused were released.

Judge M Zahid Hassan of Magura, Magura, announced the judgment of Magura's Women and Child Abuse Tribunal on Saturday (May 7th). The accused in the case are the accused, Hitu Sheikh's wife Jaheda Begum and two sons.

The main accused in the case, the father -in -law's father -in -law, Hitu Sheikh, gave a confessional statement in the court on March 7. Although he confessed that he was alone in the rape and murder case, the investigating officer of the case on April 4 submitted the investigation report against the four accused in the case of Magura Sadar Police Station Inspector (Investigation).

In the village of Nijnanduali in Magura city, the child was raped on March 7 while visiting his sister -in -law's father -in -law. A 4 -year -old child died while undergoing treatment at the Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka on March 7.
