Former Barca star Xavi tests positive for Covid-19

Xavi Hernández, Barcelona legend and former midfielder of Spain, has tested positive for Covid-19, confirmed his current club Al-Sadd.

Earlier this month, Xavi extended his contract with the club for another year. He is currently in isolation. However, the former World Cup-winning footballer has no symptoms of Covid-19 on his body.

Xavi is currently waiting to join the team after fully recovering. The Qatar Super League (QSL), which was suspended last March due to coronavirus, has resumed on Friday. Al-Saad, who is in the third position in the points list, will play against Al Khor on Saturday.
