Actress Payel Sarkar joins BJP

Tollywood is enthusiastic about West Bengal politics. There has been an uproar over the joining of stars in political parties. Following this, now Tollywood actress Payel Sarkar joined BJP ahead of the Assembly election.

In the presence of BJP all-India president JP Nadda, the party’s West Bengal state president Dilip Ghosh welcomed Payel with a flag in her hand.

Earlier, many Tollywood stars joined in the grassroots-level of political parties yesterday. Saayoni Ghosh, Kanchan Mullick joined the All India Trinamool Congress and took the party flag from Mamata’s hand on Wednesday. It was believed that BJP retaliated today with the joining of Payel Sarkar in BJP.

It is to be noted that Tollywood is now practically divided into two factions ahead of the Assembly elections. Once only Tollywood’s Victor Banerjee or George Baker was seen in the politics, now many stars have been seen there.
