Jashim Uddin on the occasion of the 12th day of the 16-day "Bijoyer 50 Bochhor: Laal Sobujer Mohotshab" organized by FBCCI. On Sunday, a folk music festival was organized at the Hatirjheel Amphitheater in the capital. In his speech, Md. Jashim Uddin paid tribute to Fakir Lalon Shah, Abbas Uddin, Hasan Raja, Abdul Alim and other famous folk music artists. He said that these famous talented artists have enriched Bengali music. Hon'ble Minister for Planning MA Mannan, MP, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh was present as the Chief Guest at the event on Sunday. The planning minister thanked the FBCCI for organizing the festival on the occasion of Golden Jubilee of the Independence of Bangladesh. In his special guest speech, State Minister for Water Resources AKM Enamul Haque Shamim said Bangabandhu was the only leader in the world who the people of Bangladesh listened to before he became President or Prime Minister. And his worthy daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is the best leader in the world. Under his visionary leadership, Bangladesh is now a country of immense potential. Bangabandhu's Bangladesh is safe only in the hands of his daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Speaking as the guest of honor, Abdul Matlub Ahmad, former president of FBCCI, said that 50 years ago, when I was traveling from Dhaka to Chattagram, I had to cross the river twice. But the people of Bangladesh had a dream. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman made Bangladesh independent by holding that dream. The Prime Minister has made 40 years of development in 10 years. With the joint efforts of all, Bangladesh will definitely become a developed country. At the end of the brief speech of the guests, pleasant cultural program is served. A dance festival will be held on Monday evening, the 13th day of the 16-day "50th Anniversary of Victory: Red-Green Festival". Hon'ble Minister for Textiles and Jute of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Golam Dastagir Gazi MP will be present as the Chief Guest.
