Holy Eid-ul-Fitr being celebrated all over the country amid festivity

Eid-ul-Fitr is the biggest religious festival of the Muslim community. People of all ages are celebrating the day with joy and festivities across the country. On the occasion of the day, various types of delicious food have been arranged at home.

Nearly half a million people already left the capital Dhaka and returned home to share the joy of Eid with their families and relatives.

Meanwhile, on the morning of Eid day, the main congregation of Eid-ul-Fitr was held at 8:30 am at National Eidgah with the participation of a large number of worshipers. Khatib Mufti Ruhul Amin of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque conducted the prayer.

On the same day morning, five congregations of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr were held at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque from 7:30 am. A large number of devotees participated in it.

Like every year, the country’s largest Eid congregation was held at the historic Sholakia Eidgah Maidan in Kishoreganj. The 196th Eid congregation started at Sholakia at 10 am with the sound of three rounds of gunfire.

Meanwhile, Doas-Munajats are offered for the welfare of the country, the nation, and the Muslim Ummah at the end of the Eid congregation across the country today. A special Doa was offered in the Eid congregation to get relief from the heatwave at the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram. The first congregation of Eid was held at Baitul Mukarram at 7 am on this day. Then four more congregations were held one by one.

On the occasion of the Eid celebration, arrangements have been made to serve high-quality food in all hospitals, prisons, government children’s homes, old people’s homes, Chotomoni Nibash, socially handicapped centers, shelters, safe homes, vagrant welfare centers, destitute welfare, and drug addiction treatment centers.

After noon, people will flock to various entertainment centers of the country including the capital. Many will also visit relatives’ homes.
