Bangladesh confirms 3rd coronavirus death

Bangladesh on Monday reported its third death from coronavirus and identification of six new patients, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 33.

Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) Director Prof Meerjady Sabrina Flora announced this at a press briefing through online at IEDCR in Mohakhali on Sunday.

Bangladesh on Saturday announced the second coronavirus death and detection of four new coronavirus patients.

Bangladesh reported the country’s first death from coronavirus on March 18.

Meanwhile, the number of globally confirmed coronavirus casese rose to 343,437on Monday. So far, the virus has claimed 14,910 lives, according to Worldometers.
