![]() 17 workers run over by train in India Local media reported that the accident took place at 5:15 am near Gadhe Jalgaon village in Aurangabad districts of the state. Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of South Central Railway Ch. Rakesh said that the workers were walking from Jalna to Bhuvasal, a distance of nearly 170km, to catch a train to return home. On their way, they were exhausted of walking and decided to take rest on the railway tracks. Unfortunately, they had been slept there due to exhaustion and the oil train-tanker moved over them. On information, police and railway officials rushed to the spot. The injured have been shifted to Aurangabad civil hospital.
