A courtesy call on meeting with the newly elected President of FBCCI Mr. Md. Jashim Uddin by the President CIS-BCCI and the Board of Directors of CIS-BCCI was held on Tuesday 25th May, 2021 at 03-00 pm at Motijheel FBCCI Icon.

The President of CIS-BCCI Mr. Md Habib Ullah Dawn presented FBCCI President with a flower bouquet and congratulated him on being elected as the President of the apex trade body in Bangladesh.

The President of CIS-BCCI elaborated on the activities of CIS-BCCI in the exploration and advocacy of CIS-BCCI to have increased trade with Russia and CIS-countries in order to diversify our export market to a third destination after US and EU. He sought cooperation of FBCCI in our bid to achieve more increased trade with Russia and CIS countries by moving obstacles in the smooth banking transaction between Russia and Bangladesh and going for agreement with Eurasian Economic Community for having duty free market access to Russia and CIS countries.

The FBCCI President praised highly the activities of CIS-BCCI in exploring our third export market in line with our export policy and assured of all out cooperation to the CIS-BCCI in achieving its aims and objectives.

The meeting was attended among others by Mr. Mohammad Ali Deen, Senior Vice President of CIS-BCCI, Mr. Jadab Debnath, Vice President of CIS-BCCI, Mr. Mahbub Islam Runu, Adviser of CIS-BCCI, Directors Mr. Md. Enamul Haque, Ms. Tauhida Sultana, Ms. Salma Hossain Ash, Mr. Abdul Latif Sarker, Mr. Sheikh Fayez Alam and Mr. Mustafa Mohiuddin. Secretary of CIS-BCCI, Mr. Bijoy Kumar Kejriwal, Director of FBCCI was also present in the meeting.
