Hefazat Ameer Babunagari dies

Hefazat-e-Islam Ameer and Shaikhul Hadith of Hathazari Madrasah Junayed Babunagari has passed away. 

His Khadem (caretaker) HM Junayed and grandson Barkatullah confirmed the death to Jago News on Thursday. 

“He (Babunagari) breathed his last 12:50pm while undergoing treatment at CSCR Hospital in Chattogram,” said Junayed.

He was suffering from different old-age complications including diabetics for a long time.

He was taken to the hospital around 11am after his health condition deteriorated. 

Earlier on August 8, he received the first dose of coronavirus vaccine in Hathazari upazila.
