Shafi Hossain Chisty Yousha's 5th death anniversary is celebrated.

On this day in 2017, at the age of 10 years and 8 months, he died of dengue fever (dengue shock syndrome) at Dhaka's United Hospital.

Shafi Hossain Chisty Yousha was the only child of Sajjad Hossain Chisty, journalist and member of Bangladesh Awami League Central Information and Research Sub-Committee.

On the occasion of his death anniversary, grave pilgrimage to his village house Comilla and Rampura in Dhaka, 2 Quran Khatams, Milad, doa, giving food to the underprivileged in orphanages, madrasahs, providing financial assistance to the helpless/disadvantaged, among these activities, the death anniversary was celebrated on September 8 in Comilla and Dhaka
