Jamaat is not in favor of giving the government on time for votes: Amir

Jamaat -e -Islami Amir Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said the next election is better if the next election is between December and February. However, it will not be right after April. But he said the party was not in favor of the government for the vote.

He said this at a Jamaat -e -Islami press conference at a hotel in the capital this morning (June 5th).

Jamaat Amir said fascism has left the country but fascism is not good. The departure of fascism requires a fair and neutral election in the country.

He also said that the current Election Commission (EC) will return the symbol. They will keep the status of their chairs, but Jamaat Amir also warned that Jamaat would not be silent if there was any prejudice or exception.

Regarding the sovereignty of the country, Jamaat Amir said there is no concession to protect sovereignty. In favor of a friendly relationship on the basis of fairness with neighbors.

He also said that the Awami League government has fallen in the united efforts of students, ordinary people and people of all levels. He also alleged that the fascist escaped, but he was trying to destabilize the country by speaking from the top.
