BNP Standing Committee Member Salahuddin Ahmed has demanded clarification, through investigation, on whether any advisor of the interim government is involved in the extortion in the capital’s Gulshan.
He made the demand while speaking at a press conference at his residence on Thursday.
Salahuddin said it should be made clear to the public if any advisor is linked to the extortion incident. Without an investigation, more questions will arise about them. He also called for a detailed and transparent investigation into the matter.
The BNP senior leader urged political parties to refrain from making misleading remarks regarding the upcoming national parliamentary elections.
He warned that those who attempt to sabotage or boycott the elections will be excluded from national politics.
