![]() BEELIA Announces 2nd International Elevator Expo 2026 Ahead of the upcoming event, a Curtain Raising and Stall Booking Launch Ceremony was held on Thursday (9 October) evening at Lambda Hall, Gulshan Club, Dhaka. Emdad Ur Rahman, President of BEELIA, attended as Chief Guest, and Md. Shafiul Alam Uzzwal, General Secretary of BEELIA, was present as Special Guest. Mr. Neyamul Haque Sayem, Chairman of the Expo Organizing Committee 2026, committee members, and Mr. Rashedul Haque, Managing Director of ExpoNet Exhibition (Pvt.) Ltd., along with industry entrepreneurs, engineers and importers were Also attend. In his welcome remarks, General Secretary Mr. Uzzwal thanked association members and partners for their continued support and officially announced the launch of preparations for the second edition of the Expo. Chairman Mr. Neyamul Haque Sayem presented this year’s theme — “Innovating Vertical Mobility – Ensuring Safety, Saving Lives.” He noted that with the country’s rapid urbanization, the demand for modern and safe elevator technology is growing steadily, and that the Expo will serve as an international platform for innovation and knowledge exchange. ExpoNet’s Managing Director Mr. Rashedul Haque highlighted that the first Expo, held in 2024, featured 75 domestic companies, 25 international brands, and over 7,000 visitors. He said the 2026 edition will be larger, more diverse, and even more impactful. Rashedul Haque announced that, for the first time, an online stall booking system is being introduced, enabling participants to book their preferred stalls on a “first-come, first-served” basis starting 1 November 2025. He also informed that the media partners for this year’s Expo are The Daily Ittefaq, Manabzamin, Samakal, Inqilab, ATN Bangla, ATN News and Jago Radio, who will play key roles in the promotion and public coverage of the event. President Mr. Emdad Ur Rahman formally inaugurated the stall booking for the BEELIA Pavilion. In his remarks, he stated that Bangladesh’s elevator industry is entering a new era of growth and innovation, and the Expo will be a milestone in that journey. Organizers expressed optimism that the BEELIA 2nd International Elevator Expo 2026 will open a new chapter for Bangladesh’s elevator sector — promoting safety, innovation and international collaboration toward a smarter future.
