Accused of Embezzlement, Member of Fatulla Police Station Citizens' Committee Expelled The decision was communicated to her in a letter signed by Akhtar Hossain, the acting member secretary of the National Citizens' Committee, on April 8. The matter became public on Thursday afternoon. According to the letter from the National Citizens' Committee, Dilshad Afrin's recent activities were found to be in violation of the organization’s rules, discipline, and principles. Based on the allegations and in the interest of maintaining organizational discipline, the acting convener Nasiruddin Patwari and acting member secretary Akhtar Hossain approved the decision to expel her from the committee. The decision came into effect on April 8. Al Amin, former joint member secretary of the central committee of the National Citizens' Committee and current joint member secretary of the National Citizens' Party (NCP), confirmed the matter. Speaking to people's time, he stated that Dilshad Afrin was expelled after allegations, including embezzlement of funds from the July Martyrs Memorial Foundation, were found to be true. She was officially expelled on April 8. |
