Khaleda Zia's physical condition is stable: Zahid Hossain

BNP Standing Committee member and Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia's personal physician, Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain, said the former prime minister was taken to Evercare Hospital for a routine health check-up on the advice of her medical board.
"Alhamdulillah, after completing the tests, she returned to Firoza on the advice of the Medical Board," he told journalists last night after Khaleda Zia's return to her residence from Evercare Hospital.
Zahid Hossain said that Begum Khaleda Zia has sought prayers from the countrymen for her recovery.
