Abu Shadik Kayem, Chhatra Shibir’s vice president candidate in DUCSU polls, has commented that July uprising's aspirations will win through the elections.
He said this to reporters after visiting the university's TSC center on Tuesday.
Kayem said, “I will tell the voters, come to the center, vote for the candidate of your choice. All of us who are voting here were fellow fighters of July. We hope that everyone will behave responsibly. July will win through this election, the aspirations of July will win.”
Addressing the teachers responsible for the election, he said, "We do not want any tensions between students and teachers due to special benefits given to any particular person. We hope that everyone will behave responsibly in the end."
