Heat wave sweeping might continue
An ongoing mild-to-moderate heat wave sweeping over the Dhaka, Rajshahi, and Khulna divisions may continue for the next 24 hours.
The Met Office issued this bulletin on Friday morning, reports BSS. The bulletin said day and night temperatures are likely to remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Rain or thundershowers—accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind—is likely to occur at one or two places in the Rangpur, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions during the period.
The weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere across the country.
The highest temperature recorded on Thursday was 39.5 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi; while on Friday, the minimum temperature was 23.3 degrees Celsius in Tetulia under Rangpur division.
In the capital, the sun will set at 6:32pm on Friday, and rise at 5:18am on Saturday.
