Moudud Ahmed taken to Singapore for treatment

Senior BNP leader Moudud Ahmed has been taken to Singapore for advanced treatment. He left Dhaka on board a Bangladesh Biman Airlines flight around 8:30 am on Thursday, according to his aide Mominur Rahman Sujan.

â€œHe was taken to Singapore for better treatment. He will be treated at Mount Elizabeth Hospital there," he told bdnews24.com

Moudud's wife Hasna Moudud has accompanied him to Singapore.

On Sunday, the 79-year-old BNP standing committee member was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Dhaka after he complained of chest pain at the High Court.
