Pakistan Claims Destruction of India's S-400 System

Pakistan has claimed to have destroyed India’s advanced air defense system, the S-400. On Saturday, May 10, Islamabad stated that the attack was carried out under an operation named "Bunyan Marsus" and targeted the security installation located in Adampur, Jalandhar district of Indian-administered Punjab.

Following the start of the assault in the morning, Pakistan claimed a series of successes. It also asserted that it had launched a cyberattack, hacking all websites of India’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

India had purchased the S-400 air defense system from Russia at a cost of approximately $1.5 billion. However, the BBC has not been able to independently verify Pakistan’s claim of destroying the system, and the Indian government has not commented on the matter.

Earlier, Pakistan reported that it had carried out attacks on several locations in India and claimed to have destroyed two airbases as part of those operations.
